Purpose of the United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

United Methodist Women Circle Meetings And Contacts

Grace Circle - meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the parlor.

This circle’s focus is on the support of missions and missionaries

  • Coralene Bloss, chairperson

Mary Martha Circle - meets the third Wednesday of each month 9:30 a.m. in the Parlor.

This circle’s focus is on supportive community programs and speakers.

  • Sharon Fernquist & Betty Hogle, co-chairpersons

Dorcas Circle - meets the third Wednesday of each month 11:30 a.m. for lunch at a pre-chosen restaurant. Call Dolores for details. This circle’s focus is on prayer and financial support for missionaries.

Ruth Circle - meets the third Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the parlor.

  • This circle’s focus is service and support.

Faith Circle- meets the fourth Monday each month at 7:00 p.m. in the church parlor. This circle’s focus is local mission service and financial support to global mission.

    - meets the last week of each month at 7:00 p.m. rotating in the homes of their members. For the next meeting date & location check the Bellringer.
